Surprise Letter...........Paul Smith, London

When British designer Paul Smith visited Melbourne this Spring, I was there to capture the fashion pack that flocked to the opening of his flagship store. The launch party reminded me of a scene from the Great Gatsby and fuelled drawing ideas for days.

Once the event was painted and posted on my blog, I sent out a folio via email to the London fashion house and crossed my fingers. You can image then how thrilled I was when I received this drawing and message from the man himself.
